Bass club moves up to 4th place in THSBA standings

Bass team moves in to 4th place in the THSBA standings in the north Texas region. March 14th is their next tournament on Lake Lavon. Weigh in will began at 3:00 pm. Weigh in for this tournament is at Princeton High School.  

Mid-Point of the Bass Fishing Season

After three Bass Tournaments the Gainesville High School Bass Team has put its self in position to lead the way to the regional tournament  in April. Come on out Saturday October 12 and watch your Gainesville Bass Club weigh in at the Lewisville Lake Bass Tournament. Weigh in starts at 3:00 and is at Little Elm Park.

Looking for Boat Captains

Gainesville High School Bass Club is looking for boat captains for the 2019/2020 school year. We are looking for bass boat owners with a desire to help kids. If you are interested contact Coach Scott @ bscott@gainesvilleisd.org. Each captain must pass a background check and complete a Safe Sport Certification class.

Fishing Teams Qualify for State!

The Gainesville High School Bass Fishing teams competed at the Regional tournament on Saturday, April 20 at Lake Ray Hubbard. The GHS teams competed against 46 other schools and 209 teams, finishing 2nd overall and qualifying four teams to the State tournament.
