The GJH cross country strong push to the finish line allowed a 2nd place title. Both boys and girls ran a hard race with some big hills and unfamiliar terrain. The top three runners were Oscar Ramirez (2nd place), Braxton Evans (4th place), and Angel Jasso (14th place). There were two girls that competed on Saturday. Alondra Rojas finished in 10th place and Karen Vargas finished in 16th place. The Gainesville Junior High cross country team will compete again next week in their final meet of the season at district.
