The Leopards faced off against the Bridgeport Bulls on Monday for their second home contest of the year. Gainesville put on the pressure from the start and never looked back in the first quarter. The press was unstoppable and forced turnover after turnover which led to easy buckets. The Leopards jumped out to a 21-2 lead by the end of the 1st.

Gainesville’s leading scorer for the night was Samuel who was able to put up 14 points on the night. Ray chipped in an additional 9 points, and the rest of the points were spread fairly evenly between the rest of the team. The shots were falling all night for the Leopards, and it led to a great offensive showing.

The defense was led up front by Jamal and Ruben who both forced several turnovers and put the Bulls guards on skates. Julien and Samuel controlled the paint and the glass defensively.

It was a great game all around for the Leopards, but there is still plenty of work to do. We will have a long stretch before our next game to iron out some of the issues. The Leopards will match up against Aubrey for their first away game of the season on Thursday, December 3rd. Come out and support!
